B. Tech in Electrical Engineering is a program that deals with the study and application of electricity, electronics, electromagnetism for the development & maintenance of electrical and electronics equipment. They work in myriad industries such as hardware companies, large power plants, industrial machinery, electrical motors, and computer chips. They also work in the manufacturing of ignition systems for automobiles, aircraft, space crafts and all kinds of engines. Electrical engineers rely on computer-aided design (CAD) systems to create layout circuits and schematics. Computers are also used to simulate how electrical devices and systems will function.
The course deals with the entire concepts of electrical engineering. Students will develop competence in the areas of Electrical Machines, Power System, Control System, Power Electronics & Drives and High Voltage Engineering. This courseenables the students to take up professional career and/or higher studies in the above areas.
1. B.Tech-Electrical Engineering is a Lateral Entry for Working Professional Program, recognized by UGC.
2. The programme is of six semesters, with online classes conducted on weekends or after business hours.
3. Contact-less and safe Online exams facility.
4. Lectures are delivered by faculty members and experienced industry professionals.
5. The Dissertation in the final semester enables students to apply concepts and techniques learnt during course work to solve current environmental problems.
6. The programme uses a Continuous Evaluation System that assesses the learners over convenient and regular intervals. Such a system provides timely and frequent feedback and helps busy working professionals stay on course with the programme.
7. Participants who successfully complete the programme are awarded with Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
